At the beginning she didn't have any hopes of being an actor. She wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps by becoming a nurse. Her interest in acting grew when she visited colleges and decided the degree she'd like to pursue. She was discovered by a talent scout when she was performing in a school play. She was encouraged by the scout to contemplate a career in the career in the industry. Her fame as an actor after starring in the film 'Ryan's hope'. Her most acclaim role was as a chemical exposure victim in the cult film "Erin Brockovich". Marg has a busy schedule however she manages to make time for charity work. Each year, she organizes an event with celebrities that help raise money for Breast cancer research. Marg's mum is a breast-cancer survivor, who fought the cancer for 27 years.
